RUSSIAN VISAS
The Russia House has been involved with procuring Russian Visas since 1970! We have a team with some forty years experience in facilitating and providing services to foster Russo-British Trade. To the uninitiated obtaining a visa can be a complicated and time consuming procedure and requirements can change, therefore early visa application is essential, applicants can apply up to 6 weeks prior to departure.
We manage to stay ahead of the game and are proud to state: Russian Visa Procurement - Success on Time - Every Time!
VISA
Visa procuration has two stages:
1/ Support / Invitation from the Russian Ministry of Interior.
We will obtain this for you.
We need a clear colour copy of the information page of your passport, this must be centred on the page.
Please email to russiahouse@btinternet.com
We need your date of entry into Russia and the cities to be visited. Country and city that you wish to have your visa issued in is very important,
as you will need to present the documents to the Russian Consulate in the City of issue. Passport must have at least 6 months validity after the expiry of the passport and at least 2 blank pages.
Payment of Euro 165.00 – credit cards accepted.
2/ Endorsement of the visa into the passport
The Russia House has offices in London, Stockholm and New York and would be pleased to handle this for you. In all other countries you must present your documents to the Consulate (as indicated to us on your initial request for support)
- A completed visa form is required and can be found on our website www.therussiahouse.co.uk
- One colour recent passport size photo with a light background
- Support letter and invitation certificate (we will supply and forward to you).
Consular charges vary from country to country according to bilateral agreements, but as a guide here are the London costs:
Consular charge for 6 working day issue: £72.00 - €80.00
Consular charge for 36 hour issue: £128.00 - €142.00
Administration charge if issued in London: £79.00 - €88.00
TAX: £15.80 - €17.50
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
The Russia House has secured an allocation of rooms in 3, 4 and 5 star central hotels for Russia Power 2011, which we have tried and tested over the years and consider good value for money with comfort and location convenience in mind.
We are also able to arrange meet, greet and car transfer airport-hotel-airport - highly recommended - cost £65.00 €75.00 per car.
A collection of useful phrases in Russian with audio recordings.
The Russian recordings are all provided by the good people at A Taste of Russian. Each phrase is pronounced slowly first, then at normal speed.
